I made these tumblers once and it then took me a very long time to figure out how I had made them. These are a favorite of mine. I make these tumblers with a special clay that has a large quantity of iron. I then cover the pot with a white slip and then an alkaline glaze over that. The result is a pot that to me looks white washed. I particularly like how the slip underneath reveals itself.

These stoneware tumblers are 6” in height.
